This project offered a unique opportunity to renovate and extend a mansion house. The property had not previously been altered for approximately 30 years and during the 1970’s some poor flat roof extensions had been added to the property. The brief was to reconsider the extensions and refurbish the entire house. Great care was taken to use the local Midhurst stone to match the existing house, incorporating new pitched roofs and new front entrance hall. The interior used a mixture of oak floors and staircases, providing an Arts and Crafts feel yet undertaken in a modern way.
